This is our Home Page, the page you first see when you connect to this site. Finding your way about will not be difficult. With more and more households becoming aware of the benefits having an Internet connection, we hope that residents will gradually get into a routine of checking on this site to keep informed of community matters. There will certainly be some amongst us who have access to a computer but are, as yet, not conversant with the Internet. Those of us who make frequent or even occasional use of it will be pleased to give advice and assistance. If required, we can run some familiarisation classes. There will also be many residents who for reasons of their own do not have, and possibly do not want to get get on the Internet or even get a computer. These persons need have no worries. This web site is an additional facility. The existing means of communication and information will still exist.

 For those who want to participate, a few introductory words.  This is a new site, designed and managed locally and we ask you for some tolerance if things do not run smoothly at first. Ultimately the success or not of the venture will be determined by the Residents themselves; by how useful it is and by how much use is made of it. We have included an e-mail facility to allow you to submit comments, make suggestions or whatever. This is very simple and easy to do, and requires no specialist knowledge. Sensible feedback of this nature can help in many ways, not least by making the Committee aware of situations, preferences and requirements. By its nature of reflecting continuously changing situations, the site will need to be, and will be, upgraded at appropriate  intervals.
